    Only on your first booking a questionnaire & disclaimer will need to be completed & signed. These forms are available once you have added the rest of your group (your/the child). If there are any amendments from previous sessions, Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers must be notified.


    Welcome to Sandy Toed Sea Swimmers, our private group sessions are for 4-8 swimmers and available to all abilities under 18's. These sessions are for groups of friends, relatives, swimming clubs etc, who maybe trying open water swimming for the first time, wanting to build confidence, improve stroke technique, or even for swimmers just wanting to spend quality time together.

    They are 45 minutes and include a safety briefing on the beach beforehand as well as giving you useful tips to help you enjoy your swim to the fullest.

    As well as sharing our open water passion with you, these sessions will give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to start or continue with your own open water journey.


    All sessions will be held at The Boathouse, Felpham.


    PLEASE NOTE, due to circumstances beyond our control we might have to change venue/time on the day, please check here on the day of your session for any changes.





    Requirements
    1. An adult must be present throughout the session, either on the beach or in the water.
    2. Be under 18 years of age.
    3. It is compulsory for all children to wear a wet suit, neoprene socks or shoes and brightly coloured swimming hat in the water. Gloves are also required in the colder months.
    4. The medical questionnaire must be completed and disclaimer signed before your session starts. These forms are available once you have added the rest of your group, (your/the child.)




    What to bring
    1. It is compulsory for all children to wear a wet suit, neoprene socks or shoes and brightly coloured swimming hat in the water ( we have spare hats you can borrow).
    2. Gloves are also required in the colder months.
    3. Goggles, towel, layers of clothing, woolly hat, drink and snack.
    4. Changing robe is optional.




    Itinerary
    1. At the start of a session there will be a safety briefing so time spent in the water will be less than 45 minutes.
    2. Put into practice individual requirements.
    3. Debrief at end of session.
