We have been running our very successful Summer Walking Holidays for a number of years now. This trip is for anyone with an interest in Geology & Landscape. You don't have to be an expert - our experienced guides will explain how our landscape was formed & walk you through earth's history. Arran has some fantastic examples of classic geological features which are easily accessible using the Arran Coastal Way. You will see many fossils including a dinosaurs footprint. The Isle of Arran is now recognised as a Unesco Geopark. 2026 is the 300 year anniversary of James Hutton's first visit to the Isle of Arran, when he established his theory on the age of the earth.
