With action and adventure at every turn, our Llys Y Fran Falcons After School Activity Club is aimed at 8-16 year olds and is all about having fun outdoors, learning new skills, developing confidence and making lots of new friends along the way.

The weekly sessions include participation and development in a range of water based activities including sailing, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding.

These sessions are booked every Friday in monthly slots. Please note that any missed sessions are non refundable and your booking does not secure you a place the following month, we recommend booking your place early!

Every Wednesday from 24th July 2024 – 14th August 2024: 1000-1300

£60.00 per person for 4x 3hr sessions which includes paddling and sailing.

Under 12 Years Old: Must arrive with a parent or guardian who is able to aid kitting up and de-kitting at the start and end of the session. 

Over 12 Years Old: Must arrive with and be collected by a parent or guardian for their first session. Afterwards, if they are able to get themselves into wetsuits and other technical clothing without assistance, they may arrive without an adult. For safe-guarding purposes, they must always be collected by an appropriate parent or guardian.

Parents or guardians do not have to remain on site during the session. 

Safety Notice:

Safety is our number one priority. In the event of poor weather conditions, for example; strong winds or thunder and lightning, we reserve the right to restrict water access to particular user groups, restrict the area available for activities, or close the lake. We will endeavour to give advance notice whenever possible, however, some decisions need to be made at short notice.

In the case where the lake is needed to be closed, we will endeavour to notify all customers to offer the opportunity to reschedule their session or receive a refund. We will also ensure the message is shared on the Llys Y Fran website and social media pages.

Before travelling to Llys Y Fran, we ask that you follow the current government advice and do not travel if you have any of the following symptoms:

1. A high temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature).

1. A new, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).

1. A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff we ask you to sign a health declaration confirming you are free of symptoms.

We have changing facilities with warm showers and toilets. Lockers are available with a refundable £1.00.

As part of your course, you will be provided with a buoyancy aid and a wetsuit. We recommend you bring with you:

1. Swimsuit for under your wetsuit.
2. Change of clothes.
3. Towel.
4. Sun cream.
5. Bottle of water.
6. Closed toe footwear.

Please Note: Closed toe shoes are compulsory for water activities and must be worn at all times. Crocs and sliders are not deemed suitable.
