Fly and coarse fishing. Catch and release only.
All legal coarse fishing methods except live baiting are permitted.
Only one rod and line may be assembled. Trebble hooks are only permitted for spinning. At Cronfa Alwen only fly fishing is permitted beyond the wooden bridge at the North end of the reservoir. The use of ground bait and swim feeders, sweetcorn and maggots is prohibited.
Bag searches may be carried out by the Rangers at any time and infringement of any of the rules may result in an immediate ban and possible prosecution.
