  • Description

    Join our rangers for a two hour guided walk through Cnwch Woods and Elan Village. The tour will include the history of the dams and village.


    The walk is roughly 2.5km long and follows footpaths or roads, on a fairly flat surface. Walking boots and waterproofs are recommended.


    This free event is on Thursday 6th April starting at 10am. Please book early to avoid disappointment.





    Requirements

    To be fit and able enough to walk roughly 2.5km on a fairly gentle gradient.



    What to bring

    Please bring waterproof clothing, suitable footwear, sunscreen, water and snacks

    Itinerary

    Meet the rangers at 10am at the visitor centre. Head out on a circular 2.5km guided walk and finish back at the visitor centre.

Wonderful place to visit. Pay £3 for parking at the visitor centre and you can park in any of their carparks dotted around the dams. There is a cafe serving nice hot food in the visitor centre. Lots of countryside and ...
