Minimum age 12 years old. (No Exceptions will be made)
All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult on the activity
Please note that paddleboards are a 1 person craft.
Stand Up Paddleboarding is quite simply one of the best ways to enjoy being on the water and the beautiful surroundings of the Hamble River.
At The Paddle Centre we have an excellent range of inflatable paddleboards; whether you have paddled before or not we have a SUP for you to hire.
Stand Up Paddleboard for many is easy to start and enjoy but if you are at all nervous and would like some guidance, then take a look at our SUP Taster Lesson or our more in depth Beginner SUP Lesson.
During the course of your hire you will be able to paddle from our waterside base located within Premier Marinas Swanwick on the Hamble River.
You could make your way towards neighbouring Universal Marina or why not explore the stunning upper reaches of the river. We will be able to advise on the best route to travel based on your ability and experience.
Each SUP rental includes a safety briefing, paddle and buoyancy aid.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your booked hire time as this will allow you to, sign in, get changed and watch our induction video.
You will receive a brief overview of the equipment and technique on land outside The Paddle Centre before collecting your equipment and walking it down to the waters edge.
Go paddling on the beautiful Hamble River
Come back to The Paddle Centre, return your equipment, sign in and grab a coffee, slice of cake or why not an ice cream.
