Our taster lessons are perfect for those who are new to kayaking. Our qualified instructor led sessions on the beautiful Hamble River will see you learning to paddle with confidence.
Your 1.5 hour session is split into two defined sections. During the first part of your session you will develop an understanding of the equipment; learn how to turn as well as paddle in a straight line and master how to recover yourself should you fall off the kayak. The remainder of the session is your free time to paddle and put your new skills to use.
Our beginner kayak lessons have a teaching ratio of one instructor to five paddlers ensuring we are able to help you develop over the duration of the session. If you would like a one on one lesson with one of our instructors then take a look at our private kayaking lessons.
