Saltwater SUP’s 4th year of it’s race fun day.

We are back with this great celebration of paddleboarding.

Following on from last year at Chalkwell Beach, we will hold a SUP social, all fees paid go to RNLI.

All boards are provided, everyone races on 106x32 ISUPS, races are open to all comers and levels of experience.

Categories include novices- less than 12 months experience (anyone who has just learnt )

Intermediate - 1+ years exp

Experienced / Racer- Plenty of experience, has raced at EASI/GBSUP/Club level, paddles in open sea in less than perfect conditions.

We will have the popular relay race, Dolphins v Flamingos mixed teams, mixed abilities, just lots of fun around our short course.

Saltwater Beach Cafe is open with food, drinks, after we have a SUP beach social, swap boards, bring your friends and family.

Requirements

That you have paddleboarded before, novices do not need a lot of experience. Will have safety on and off the water.

What to bring

BA's if you have them, if you want to use you own paddle then bring it, if you do not have one they will be provided along with all other kit. This is a fun charity race day, meet like minded paddle boarders, challenge yourself over a short course and have enjoy being on and near the water.

Turn up, have fun and try going as quickly as you can on a paddle board, do it with a smile on your face
