ADULTS: £20pp, 7-16 Year olds £10pp
Join us for a 2.5-hour paddling adventure on the beautiful River Avon, guided by an experienced instructor.
Each open canoe accommodates Two people, or One adult and two children, or Two adults and one small child in the middle.
Please note that participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the water, and the minimum age for paddlers is 17.
As you explore the river, keep an eye out for fascinating wildlife, including Kingfishers, Herons, Dragonflies, and Otters, which are frequently spotted in the area. The stunning scenery and diverse wildlife will provide a delightful distraction and an opportunity to disconnect from the world for a few hours.
Your friendly instructor will lead you along the river, offering support, sharing river knowledge, and ensuring you have a comfortable paddling experience.
These paddling sessions depart from and return to Avon Valley Farm, and advance booking is required.
Arriving on site:
As you drive over the small humpback bridge, take the next right to Avon Valley Farm before you enter the Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park. Follow this road, over a couple of speed bumps and turn left, following the signs where you will arrive at our car park. Please head to the reception to book in.

Customer Notice: You will be on the River Avon (between Bath and Bristol), which is home to various wildlife up and down the river. Like any other open-water source, please do your best not to ingest the water as there is a small risk that you could catch something as the river is accessed by the local wildlife. Should you feel ill after the session, please let us know asap so we can keep track of your progress. Should it worsen, please see your local GP and let them know you have been playing in the river so they can perform the correct medical checks.
