    Loch Maree, 5 day expedition of Loch Maree, River Ewe and Loch Ewe in the remote West Coast of Scotland. Our most northernly Sup expedition yet and what an adventure! 


    We are offering this trip at a discounted rate of £300 per person for 2024 only!


    19th - 23rd June 2024! 


    Day 1 - 

    Meeting at Fort William Train station, we will have a taxi company waiting to transport you to our starting point. 2.5hour transfer. Arriving at the stunning Loch Maree. We will load all our kit and set off on Loch Maree and begin our journey. 


    Day 2 - 

    Continuing down Loch Maree and exploring the many different islands and history along our way. 


    Day 3 - 

    We set off down the River Ewe for a more relaxed meander along the river then stopping at Poolewe for a well deserved lunch stop at a local pub (own cost) before a short paddle to camp 3


    Day 4 - 

    Setting off around the coastline of the North Minch. White sandy beaches and stunning views over towards Stornoway and the Isle of Lewis. Depending on conditions at this stage we will either head north towards the Summer Isles or south towards Gairloch. 


    Day 5 - 

    Packing up early and paddling to our collection point to meet our taxi for the return journey to Fort William. 


    We will aim to be returned back to our meeting point in Fort William for 4.30pm roughly on the Sunday! 


    65-75km spread across five days paddling. Not for beginners! 


    Your safety is always our primary concern, we use a 1:4 ratio. Our trip leaders are highly qualified SUP Expedition Guides with advanced first aid qualifications. Our guides are some of the most experienced sup guides in Scotland, operating in multiple locations across Scotland all year round! 


    What’s included?

    Boards - We use top quality 14 X 31 MCCONKS Go Further boards, Quick release waist leashes, Carbon 2 piece paddle, PDF and coiled leash. 


    Food - We provide breakfast, lunch and evening meals while out on expedition. These are in the form of expedition style porridge packs and rehydrated expedition foods. A list will be sent out for your choice of meals. We use Real Turmac expedition foods. We supply a group cooking kitchen. 


    Camping - As well as spectacular wild camping sites, we also provide tents, thermarest style air bed and dry bags to carry all this plus your own kit. All you need to bring is your own personal paddling gear, clothing and a 2/3 season sleeping bag. A kit list will be sent out to you. 


    For all our trips we set up a WhatsApp Group chat, this will let you get to know who else is on your trip, ask questions to your guide and liaise with travel plans! 


    Guide - Expert guide, fully equipped with VHF radio, Garmin Inreach GPS, full first aid and emergency equipment


    We are happy for you to bring your own SUP but it must have the ability to carry all equipment with front and back loading capabilities and be suitable to four days touring!
