Invite only for Schools - Years 2,3 & 4 (Ages 6-10)
Description
During phase 1 children from schools in Years 2,3 & 4 (Ages 6-10) are assessed by undertaking a series of simple exercises in dryland, led by one of our qualified coaches. We are looking for children who are up for a challenge, well-co-ordinated and are flexible. They also need to have a competitive streak. The session will end with a tour of the diving pool and once we have collated all of the outcomes of phase 1 the children if successful will be invited back to the pool for Phase 2 talent testing which will take place in the diving pool itself over the summer holidays, if the children are not selected for Phase 1 they will still be offered a letter for taster sessions which also takes place in the diving pool and leads onto our diving lessons programme.
The session will take place in our Diving Studio, children will need to wear T-shirt and shorts with bare feet (please note that footwear must be worn outside of the training area). The session will last 45 minutes including a tour of the diving pool, on arrival a coach will be there to greet you at reception. For Phase 1 you are allocated x1 session only and the session is free of charge.
