A course focused on mastering sailing techniques and sailing double-handed, leading to RYA Stage 4 certification.
Description
Aimed at young sailors ready to refine their sailing skills, this course focuses on mastering advanced boat handling techniques in varied conditions. Participants will learn to sail a dinghy as part of a crew and helm a double-handed boat with confidence. The course also introduces sailing efficiently upwind and downwind, as well as adjusting for changing weather conditions. With successful completion of this 5-day course, participants can achieve their RYA Stage 4 certification, opening the door to specialized advanced modules and racing courses.
Need some time to consolidate and practice the Stage 4 skills? Our Active Sail Advanced courses allow students, who have achieved their Stage 3 or higher to master their skills and get even more time on the water!
