Family fun sea kayak session £40/person. (10% off for groups of 6 or more)
*Please note all under 18's must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian on trips*
Our most popular trip! Family fun on the water. Get out on the kayaks with family or friends to learn some basic skills and explore the beautiful natural harbour at Port Quin. Then some fun challenges or further explorations with Sam or Archie to round things off. If it's really calm we can give you the option of going on a journey along the coast a bit further.
We will always try and explore a few caves and see what wildlife is around during this session. Port Quin harbour is an amazing and safe location to explore by kayak.
Duration is 2 hours from start to finish with around 1.5 hours on the water.
We use double kayaks for these sessions we have singles if there are odd number groups with enough adults (children would struggle on their own) Double kayaks work really well with an adult in the back and younger person in the front.
If children are strong and confidant, they can pair up on a double or we can have a swap around during the session, just remember you may get wet!
As for all our sessions we can supply all you need including a wetsuit, and the usual safety kit. If you would like to bring your own wetsuits along please do so and we can check for suitability a Summer 3:2 suit is fine in the warmer months, shorties on children are not recommended as they tend to get cold unless its really warm weather.
You need to bring swim stuff for under your wetsuit, a nice big towel or changing robe and warm clothes for afterward. Water and suncream are a good idea.
Minimum age for this session is 8 years old.
We prefer children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult.

My daughter and I had the best time with Sam and Dylan. They set us up well to Kayak safely, and shared their depth of knowledge about the local area and wildlife as we explored the bay. Amazing

Sam is such a good guy and as local as it gets. He grew up on the farm above the bay! On the day we went the wind was up so we mainly stayed in the bay, but Sam made the experience fun despite the limitations. Definitely ...

Had a very enjoyable couple of hours sea kayaking at Port Quin (2 adults, 2 children). Sam gave clear instruction and was very knowledgeable about the local area. We were I safe hands. Would definitely do it again.
