Session Information:

Welcome to an exciting adventure! Get ready to explore of our spectacular Maize Maze, nestled in a lush 5-acre site just off the A30, near Truro at Blackwater, Cornwall.

1. No need to book, just show up, visit reception next to the slide where you can pay, then explore the maze!
2. If you have a slide session booked, please see reception and explore the maze for just £5pp
3. Please use the same carpark as for the slide.
4. The Maize Maze promises fun for all ages and abilities, with towering maize reaching up to 8ft high, creating an immersive experience.
5. Make sure to visit our viewing tower in the maze's heart.
6. Kids under 4 get in free*, but please note that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and those aged 12 to 17 require adult supervision on-site.
7. Remember, picking corn or tampering with the crops is strictly prohibited; stay on the path for your safety and to preserve the maze's integrity.

Maize Maze Information:

2. Plan for potential traffic delays, especially during the summer season, and allow ample travel time.
3. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome, but owners must clean up after them.

Weather Safety:

Safety is our priority, especially during adverse weather conditions:

1. The Maze operates rain or shine, so bring appropriate gear for wet weather.
2. However, we close in high winds or during thunder and lightning for your safety.
3. We'll notify you in advance of any cancellations via email or updates on our Facebook page or answerphone.
4. If you haven't heard from us, still come for your session as weather reports can change quickly.

Refreshments and snacks are available for purchase on-site.

Remember sunscreen for sunny days and wellies for muddy ones.

Participant Requirements:

1. Children aged 17 years and under must be always supervised by an adult whilst on site.

Site Regulations:

1. Well-behaved dogs are more than welcome on site. Please keep them on a lead and clean up any mess.
2. Picnics are welcome, but please take all your litter home.
3. We do not allow smoking, vaping, or alcohol on site.

Maize Maze Clothing Guidelines:

Clothing:

Feel free to wear any comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities.

Sunny:

Don't forget to bring a hat and plenty of sun cream. (Unlike your scones, cream first please.)

Rainy or Overcast:

Be prepared with raincoats, umbrellas, and wellies.

Footwear:

For safety reasons, it's essential to wear appropriate non-slip footwear while navigating the maze. In adverse conditions, it would be wise to bring some wellies.

Safety Advisory:

Please be aware that the field can get slippery when wet or muddy. The ground may also be uneven in places, so remain vigilant. Watch out for stones, rocks, and root crops that could cause trips; try to avoid them.
