Description
This is our regular paddle from The Albany Pub, Thames Ditton.
The time is an Arrival Time.
You will need your own board, a leash (preferably a quick release waist leash) and ideally a buoyancy aid. If you don't have one of these yet, then attach your leash to your buoyancy aid. We will decide where we shall go depending on the make up of the group.
Members are free, the fee for non-members is a small booking fee only. It helps pay for the booking platform.
Please wear quick drying clothing and bring a change of clothes and a towel. A dry bag would also be a good idea as well and waterproof footwear. Finally water and a snack.
Please let us know if you would like to volunteer and welcome others to the session.
Please Note - You are responsible for your own safety on all club paddles and must self assess if you are competent to take part, including the ability to Self Rescue. Dittons Paddle Boarding only set the meeting time and place.
Parking
Please park responsibly in the local area. There is parking available at The Albany pub. They would welcome you in afterwards for a post paddle recovery drink. We have a table booked

Toilets and Changing
The Albany's toilets are accessible through the pub. It would make them happy if you bought a beverage, buy way of a thank you.
What to bring
No specialist clothing is required. In warm weather, ordinary gym gear will be fine (shorts/leggings/T-shirt/sweatshirt), with old sandals or trainers you don't mind getting wet. Or you can get cheap neoprene wet shoes from most large supermarkets.
In colder weather, a wetsuit or drysuit would be advisory.
Always bring a towel and a change of clothes just in case you go in during the paddle boarding session.
Please arrive early enough to pump up your board.
