Go Sailing with Llandegfedd Activity Centre
Book a private Sailability session with one of our instructors. We have a hoist and harness available to aid you into the sailing boat. Carers are free to accompany you if necessary (please select this within the 'add on' section). Gives you the opportunity to explore Llandegfedd Lake in a peaceful and calm manner.
Weather:
Safety is our number one priority. If weather conditions are poor (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents occur, we reserve the right to restrict activity. Advance notice will be given where possible. However, sometimes decisions must be made at short notice. If we close for activities, we will contact all customers impacted to either reschedule or refund.
For all water based activities you will be provided with a buoyancy aid and offered a wetsuit. We are a wet launch site and have shingle beaches therefore you need to wear something on your feet (an old pair of trainers will do because they will get wet!) Finally don’t forget a spare change of clothes and a towel. The weather will dictate what clothing is suitable for your activity.
1. Arrive at scheduled session time (ensuring your disclaimer has been completed online prior to arrival).
2. Meet and great with your instructor.
3. Change into water kit (wetsuit/Buoyancy aid)
4. Time to enjoy your instructor lead session on the water.
5. Change out of water kit (wetsuit/Buoyancy aid)
