Explore Llandegfedd Lake from a different perspective. Hire a Sit-on-top Kayak and take a leisurely paddle around the reservoir while feeling close to the water. As you make your way around the reservoir enjoy the spectacular views and look out for the local wildlife. You may even see an Otter!


Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time to allow time to change into required kit ready for a safety briefing at the start time.


The minimum age allowed on the water is 5 years.

5 to 7 years old - Can be on a craft with a responsible adult aged 18+

8 to 13 years old - Can paddle own craft, whilst supervised by a responsible adult aged 18+ on the water

14 to 17 years old - Can paddle own craft with a responsible adult aged 18+ on site that is contactable in the case of an emergency


Weather:

Safety is our number one priority. If weather conditions are poor (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents occur, we reserve the right to restrict activity. Advance notice will be given where possible. However, sometimes decisions must be made at short notice. If we close for activities, we will contact all customers impacted to either reschedule or refund.




Requirements

  1. Children aged 5 -7 must be on the same kayak as someone age 16+
  2. Children aged 8 - 13 can paddle their own kayak, but must have someone age 16+ on a separate kayak as part of the group.
  3. Young people aged 14-17 can paddle their own craft, but must have someone age 18+ on site.

What to bring

  1. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time to allow time to change into required kit ready for a safety briefing at the start time. Ensure medial disclaimers are completed online before arrival.
  2. Check in at Water Sports Activity Centre reception.
  3. Once changed, you will be directed to your location for your activity
  4. Safety and equipment briefing will provide the start to your session alongside some tips to enjoy your session.
