Description

A unique experience to Llandegfedd Lake – Stand up Pedalboards!

Faster and more stable than a conventional stand-up paddleboard. 

The Hobie Eclipse is great fun, especially with a friend. Powered by a simple stepping motion you will be amazed at how easy it is. Enjoy this combination of fun and fitness! No experience is necessary. Please note: This is not an instructor led session.


Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time to allow time to change into required kit ready for a safety briefing at the start time.


The minimum age allowed on the water is 5 years.

5 to 7 years old - Can be on a craft with a responsible adult aged 18+

8 to 13 years old - Can paddle own craft, whilst supervised by a responsible adult aged 18+ on the water

14 to 17 years old - Can paddle own craft with a responsible adult aged 18+ on site that is contactable in the case of an emergency


Please note we only allow 1 person per pedalboard, except in the case of a child aged 5 - 7 years old. In this instance 1 child aged 5 to 7 years old can join 1 adult on a pedalboard. Maximum weight capacity per pedalboard is 140kg


Weather:

Safety is our number one priority. If weather conditions are poor (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents occur, we reserve the right to restrict activity. Advance notice will be given where possible. However, sometimes decisions must be made at short notice. If we close for activities, we will contact all customers impacted to either reschedule or refund.



Requirements

Please complete your disclaimer and medical information ahead of your visit – this will be prompted via your online booking.

-Swimsuit for under your wetsuit

-Towel

-Wet shoes or old trainers to wear during your activity

-Change of clothes

-Wetsuits will be provided as well as buoyancy aids. Buoyancy aids are a requirement. Helmet will be provided where appropriate.

Itinerary

  1. Ensure medial disclaimers are completed online before arrival. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time to allow time to change and put on safety equipment.
  2. Check in at Activity Centre reception.
  3. Get changed and receive safety briefing
  4. Enjoy your activity!
