  • Description

Fancy getting out on the water but don’t know what do to? Why stop at one? We are now offering a multi activity booking which will allow you to sample two activities within one session alongside a qualified instructor. This will give you the opportunity to decide what activity toy want to come back and try again! Following these sessions, you can either come and hire at your pleasure or book onto one of our more advanced skill sessions knowing that you’ve picked the activity you’ll enjoy the most!

This activity has timed allowed within it for changing in and out of water kit. Allowing for 1.5 hours on the water with a qualified instructor.

    Canoeing

Canoeing will involve working in pairs or 3’s to paddle your boat to explore the lake, this is an activity that is less likely to get you wet if this is what you prefer. The activity instructor will adapt the session to be as fun including various games etc or as coached as you require, this could involve improving paddling techniques and craft trim and edge. This can be discussed prior to the start of the session.

    Sailing

Sailing gives you the opportunity to helm (steer) your own boat around the beautiful surroundings of Llandegfedd lake using nothing but wind power. Depending on the length of your session you could learn how to rig your boat and different turning techniques such as tacking and jibing. The structure can be adapted to suit your group’s needs.

    Weather:

Safety is our number one priority. In the event of poor weather conditions (e.g. strong winds or thunder and lightning) or other incidents we reserve the right to restrict water access to particular user groups, restrict the area available for activities, cancel sessions or close the lake. We will endeavour to give advance notice whenever possible; however sometimes decisions need to be made at short notice. If we close the lake, we will add a message to our website and endeavour to contact all customers impacted to offer the opportunity to reschedule their session or receive a refund.

Wow, a beautiful place to visit with the family. If you're into trekking, go past the bbq areas and past the gold course. There is a little treasure at the end which the kids will love.
