Beautiful area with magnificent views. Fantastic facilities for hiking and water sports. Lovely cafe

We spent an hour there recently - in the car park  - just sitting quietly - enjoying the peace and tranquility of the scenery on a lovely sunny afternoon, while enjoying our sandwiches and juice!

Went on a sunny day. Plenty of parking, pay by phone or card. A number of walk options from short, medium and long. At the end of the walk visit the visitor centre for hot meals and hot or cold drinks. I will return to do the longer circular walk.

Came here on the weekend. This place is amazing. There is a huge lake with trails you can walk around it. Each trail had its own estimated duration of how long it will take you to walk them.

The lake has a cafe and also has a watersport centre with different acitives to do, such as canoeing, windsurfing, kayaking, etc. There are acitives that many people can enjoy there, individuals, couples, and/or families.

They even offer fishing as an activity, which is a plus for anyone who loves relaxing and having a quiet activity to participate in.

Parking is chargable with there being a car park nearby and an area to park as you head into the visitor centre. Parking is free for the first hour, then £3 for the day.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice relaxing time and walk.

Brilliant 👏 all staff very helpful first time fishing from a boat i enjoyed it so much even if we didn't catch 😀
