Description
The SUP Safer course is designed for anyone who is interested in developing their knowledge and understanding surrounding Stand Up Paddleboarding. This is an interactive course which will be delivered through a mixture of theoretical and practical learning. The course will cover four modules: equipment, environment and weather, planning, and safety on the water.
So, if you want to learn about how to look after yourself and others on the water or how to interpret weather forecasts to plan trips this is the course for you!
There will be lots of great tips and a chance to look/try at a range of equipment and techniques.
You will need all your own equipment - board, wetsuit, PFD,Leash etc.
However, there is the option to hire some of our equipment including paddleboards and PPE if you don't have of some your own.
Based At Ellerton lake where there is plenty of parking and also toilets and showers. We have brew making facilities and a cabin to stay out of any bad weather.
Water fees and British Canoeing certification included in price.
