Who is this session suitable for?

This stand-up paddleboard session is open to those who have been paddleboarding before but want to develop their confidence and skills further.

1. Must have been paddleboarding before.
2. Must be able to swim and be confident in water.
3. Have the flexibility to get from kneeling to standing unassisted.
4. Be aged 8 or over - U11s must be accompanied by a family member on the water.

How much does it cost?

1. £40 per adult
2. £34 per under 18
3. This price includes water fees, parking, wetsuits, all SUP and safety equipment, and tuition.

What will we be doing in the session?

1. Developing more effective ways of turning
2. Gaining confidence moving around on the board
3. Working on efficient forward paddling technique
4. Learning about different boards and equipment
5. Self rescue and helping others

What will be provided?

1. Quality wetsuits
2. Neoprene tops (in warm weather)
3. Windproof jackets (in cold weather)
4. Hot/cold drinks & biscuits
5. Shower and changing facilities

What do you need to bring?

1. Swimwear and shorts
2. Shoes for walking around the carpark
3. Suncream and sunhat
4. Water bottle
5. Towel
6. Any medications you may need e.g. inhalers
7. Your own wetsuit or paddleboard if you have one

Cancellation and Bad Weather

Occasionally, due to bad weather (high winds), instructor availability or very low booking numbers, we may need to cancel your paddle board session. On these occasions we will attempt to reschedule your lesson, and if this is not an option, we will offer you a credit voucher or full refund. We will always endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able to discuss the options with you.
