The day is aimed at bringing novice and seasoned racers together for a fun inclusive race day that will introduce you to a series of 3 races in the North over summer 2025 with a chance to win the overall series trophy.

Open to adults and Children over 10 years old who have completed a SUP induction and must be Self Proficient and able to self-rescue (Under 18's must have parents or legal guardians’ consent) and be on site. This year there is also seated paddle board category for anyone with limited lower limb mobility and we welcome those that would like to take part and might need more extra support on the water)
We have sessions available leading up to the day that you can access such as the Intro to SUP, SUPfit/ Social paddle, Race training and adaptive paddleboard training sessions.
What to bring on day
Bring your own board or pre book one of our boards for the race (No need to pump up yours we have limited boards so be quick)
Personal equipment PFD’s/Buoyancy aids and leash must be worn by paddlers (we can supply if you have none)
Towel/dry robe to get changed, there are changing rooms, hot showers, and toilet facility’s
£25 Adult, £15 Child (over 10 years old)
Price includes: Any kit if needed, water fees, prizes and medals (£5 extra board hire)
Bring a [packed lunch, there will be brews/water and snacks available.
The race format for the day (Timings may slip slightly) you can choose races on the day at registration.
09:45-10:45am arrive sort out boards, book in etc..
10:45am-11:00am Race brief /5km and 1.5km race starts (Adult/Youth/ Adaptive)
12:30pm race brief 500m Technical race (Lots of Buoy turns) (Adult/Youth/Adaptive)
1pm XL Board race
2pm 100m sprints
2:30pm SUP Polo match Red Vs Blue/XL Board Race
3pm End of day wrap up (prize giving) Chill out social rest of afternoon.
The central component of paddle boarding is simply to have fun, and that most paddle folk love race days as it enables them to spend a day with people who are just as excited about SUP as they are 😊
