You’re never too old to try something new and maybe you might just get hooked
This stand up paddle board session is open to all abilities, from complete beginners, to those who have paddled before. You will need to be able to swim and be confident in the water. A certain level of flexibility and ability to get up to standing from kneeling is required for learning to paddle board.
This session is designed to meet you where you are currently, whether that be a complete beginner or someone who would like to develop their skills further. By the end you should have mastered standing up or possibly some more technical skills.
All kit is provided I can cater for most sizes of quality wet suits/cags and I have a selection of neoprene tops if it’s too hot for wet suits. If you have your own wetsuits/shorty wetsuits please feel free to bring them.
Price covers everything including water fees, Parking,Hot showers, tuition, parking, Wet suit, Neoprene top, Windproof Cag, PFD and all SUP equipment.
And a Hot brew and snack always available :)
What do you need to bring:
Towel to get changed, swim wear/shorts for under wetsuit, trainers/wet shoes, warm top, gloves and hat any medications you may need.
Please aim to arrive 15 mins before session start time.

Cancellation and Bad Weather
Occasionally, due to bad weather (high winds), instructor availability or very low booking numbers, we may need to cancel your paddle board session. On these occasions we will attempt to reschedule your lesson, and if this is not an option, we will offer you a credit voucher or full refund. We will always endeavour to contact you as soon as we are able to discuss the options with you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, you will need to give us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Please email or call us on 07984247519.
Requirements
You do not need to be a proficient swimmer, but should be comfortable with falling into water while wearing a buoyancy aid.
A certain level of flexibility and ability to get up to standing from kneeling is required for learning to paddle board.
We will also need to know of any recent injuries prior to the session.
You are advised to shower / wash after the session if you have fallen in, and need to ensure that any open cuts are covered. We do have hot shower facilities open at Ellerton Lake at this point in time.
