This is for adult paddlers who paddle already and want to experience the river after dark!

Experience the magic of the river at night, as you Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) with our qualified and experienced Paddle Sports Instructors.

We'll meet as a group and provide lights and PFDs (buoyancy aids) before taking to the water...

3. Stop at a river side pub for a drink.

We'll be paddling on the following Full Moons:

2024

1. 19th August 2024 - Sturgeon Moon
2. 18th September 2024 - Corn/Harvest Moon

2025

1. 10th April 2025 - Pink Moon
2. 9th June 2025 - Strawberry Moon
3. 8th July 2025 - Buck Moon
4. 7th August 2025 - Sturgeon Moon

Anyone taking to the River on a Full Moon SUP Adventure must:

1. be 18 years or over
2. be able to swim 50 metres..
3. be able to paddle a stand up paddleboard (SUP), without assistance.
4. wear their buoyancy aid at all times whilst on the water.

You will start the session paddling on your knees before transitioning to standing, therefore a degree of flexibility is needed to do this.

For all of our Moonlit adventures we recommend that you wear high visibility / bright shorts, running tights, or similar, and wear a t-shirt with additional layers appropriate for the day. Remember, you'll also need footwear to paddle with, for example old trainers. It gets colder at night.

We plan on stopping at a riverside pub so remember a bank card or similar.

Leaving River Lane we'll explore the river as we paddle upstream towards Swan Island past Marble Hill and on towards Eel Pie Island. You'll take a well earned rest before drifting back downstream to your start point where you'll help to pack the kit away before we say our farewells.
