Mweelrea Guided Hike

Join us in County Mayo for Connaught's highest peak; Mweelrea.

Climbing from Doo Lough via the Ramp, this is a challenging day and ideal for those looking to complete Ireland 4 peak challenge.

Meeting at 0930 at Doo Lough, 15km and 990m +

7-8hours.

Please note this is a strenuous hike & not suitable for complete beginners.

Participants should be able to hike for several hours. A good level of fitness is required.

This is a strenuous hike.

- Waterproof walking boots with good ankle support

- Waterproof Jacket & trousers (The irish weather can be very unpredictable!)

- Comfortable clothes to walk in (No Jeans)

- Warm layer

- Lunch & Snacks

- 1.5-2lts of water

- Comfortable rucksack

- Any medication needed e.g. Inhaler
