This lesson is suitable for people who’ve had lessons previously and are gaining confidence with paddle and pop-up skills. All members of the booking must have surfed previously and have an understanding of the basics of paddling and popping up. All equipment is provided.

Adults, families and children aged 8+ can all surf in our levelled group lessons. For children under the age of 8 please contact us directly before booking, or book in to our tiny kids club instead.

Our lessons take place on the beautiful Bamburgh Beach. You will be taught by our experienced and knowledgable instructors whose passion for surfing shines through. Feel free to get in touch if you have any queries, call or text us on 07962166486.

Our lessons will run if the surf conditions are safe and the waves are good enough for the lesson. However, there are occasions where the surf conditions may not be suitable. In the unfortunate event of this happening we will call the number provided by the person who made the booking, as soon as possible, to give the option of rescheduling or receiving a full refund. If we do not contact you then the conditions are safe and the waves are suitable, so the lesson will go ahead as planned.

Please bring a towel and some warm clothes for after the session. Swimwear is ideal to wear under our wetsuits.

5. The lesson will be held in waist depth water unless the instructor says otherwise. This is at the discretion of the NE Surf team and the decision is made with safety as the highest priority.
