Adult surf club

Our surf clubs are aimed at people who want to surf regularly with a group and have consistent and progressive surf coaching. The lesson will be split between 1.5hrs of coaching (warm up, any learning needed on the beach and lots of time in the water!) and a half hour guided free surf - a great opportunity to practice what you’ve learnt in a less pressured environment and enjoy a chilled surf with your coaches and surf mates.

This session is suitable for anyone over the age of 16 (no upper age limit) - we can cater to different experience levels by splitting groups between coaches, so the clubs are open to all ability levels but some experience is necessary. If you are looking for a one off lesson we recommend trying our levelled group lessons, as our clubs are aimed at those wanting regular surf coaching.

Sessions are £35 for a drop in, £90 for a block of 3 or £125 for a block of 5.

All equipment is provided although you are welcome to use your own.

Our lessons take place between Bamburgh and Beadnell (whichever beach has the best conditions for the session).

Our lessons will run if the surf conditions are safe and the waves are good enough for the lesson. However, there are occasions where the surf conditions may not be suitable. If this happens we will make the call as early as we can to save wasted trips to the coast, and the session will roll on to the next weekly club session.

Age 16 +

Can swim 50m unaided in a pool.

Please bring a towel and some warm clothes for after the session. Swimwear is ideal to wear under our wetsuits.

Bring your own kit if you wish to use it.
