    SEND group for children with Special Educational Needs at Harlow Town Park, based in the learning centre next to Spurriers House Cafe. These are jointly funded from Essex Activate / Essex County Council with 50/50 spaces for those on benefits based free school meals and low income families.We have a high ratio of team members to children and make this a smaller group so as we can offer care, support and nurture. We are open earlier for drop offs if your child would benefit from extra support and some 'quiet time'.We will be running a range of Creative Activities, Physical and sensory play and games. Weather permitting we will be having some time outdoors in the park and to see the animals at pets corner, we tailor activities to the needs of the children and sessions are led by a registered Occupational Therapist.Sessions include a hot meal, healthy snacks and drinks and all activities as part of these sessions Join us for an unforgettable SEND Session this February Half Term at Roots to Wellbeing in Harlow! Perfectly tailored for children aged 5-14, our action-packed day promises a nurturing and supportive environment where your child can flourish. With a focus on individualized attention, we pride ourselves on maintaining a high team-to-child ratio, ensuring each participant feels valued and cared for. Your child will delve into a variety of engaging creative activities designed to inspire and entertain. Our sessions also feature dynamic physical and sensory play, promoting both fun and development. Weather allowing, we’ll venture outdoors to explore the beautiful Harlow Town Park and enjoy some delightful moments with the animals at Pets’ Corner. Guided by a registered Occupational Therapist, the activities are personalized to suit the unique needs of your child, making each experience both enjoyable and beneficial. Plus, the day won’t just feed creativity and energy—our sessions include a tasty hot meal, healthy snacks, and drinks, keeping your little one fueled and focused.     These sessions are for SEND children and if it is your child's first booking we will request a bit more information from you, without this your booking is not confirmed so please ensure you put correct email / phone number. We are an inclusive organisation and the sessions are supportive, inclusive and we support your child's physical, emotional, mental and cognitive health
