Take your paddle skills to the next level with our Thames Valley Tour with Coaching!

This two hour guided tour sets off from Wokingham Waterside Centre, where you'll find a free car parking just a short walk away and a picnic area.

Depending on the conditions, we'll either head right onto the Thames and take in some beautiful canal side properties, rural countryside and navigate a Lock.

Or head left onto the Kennet and Avon Canal navigating past an eddy and portaging over a wier, then onto an urban paddle through Reading Town and the Oracle Shopping Center.

This tour is perfect for paddlers who have already attended a tour or some improvers coaching and are looking to gain extra skills for independent paddling, build confidence and gain experience of wider sheltered waterways with flow and motion, it is an experience that will help improve your technique and make great memories.

You will be expected to be able to carry your board, self-launch, turn, stop, stand up paddle and self rescue with minimal support for this tour.

If you are not quite there yet, please try the Crookham or Odiham tours instead. If you feel the need to paddle on your knees for a break though, that is completely fine.

Please note that due to limited time availability; bookings are on a first come first serve basis so be sure to secure yours as soon as possible!

Must either have had a lesson or be a self taught paddler.

Lightweight Quick dry comfortable layers with optional windproof layer if chilly/raining

Soft soled footwear/neoprene boots.

Hat

Towel & a full change of clothes for the car for afterwards.

Snacks, Drinks and Money in case the opportunity for a pub stop arises.
