Take your paddle skills to the next level with our Mytchet Flashes Tour with Coaching!
This two hour guided tour sets off from Mytchett Canal Center, where you'll find a free carpark and picnic area. We'll take in some beautiful countryside, explore the flashes and old canal barge ruins and take the opportunity to practice some more advanced turns including bow and cross bow turns and the famous step back turn if you are feeling brave enough!!
We'll pause for refreshments and a short floating break on the water (bring a can of your favourite tipple and some snacks to enjoy) before returning back to base.
This tour is perfect for relatively new paddlers looking to build confidence, skills and stamina, and is an experience that will help improve your technique and make great memories.
You will be expected to be able to self-launch bankside and stand up paddle with minimal support for this tour. If you are not quite there yet, please do get in contact for a lesson beforehand. If you feel the need to paddle on your knees for a break though, that is completely fine.
Please note that due to limited time availability; bookings are on a first come first serve basis so be sure to secure yours as soon as possible!
If you own your own board, you are more than welcome to bring and use it, however please ensure you are on site in plenty of time to get it set up and inflated in order to launch at the designated time.
