Always wanted to kayak on the River Tweed? Well this hire is for you. We will hire you a sit on top kayak and put you in the River Tweed at Peebles, you then paddle at your own pace down to Innerleithen where we will meet you. It’s a beautiful gentle flowing part of the River Tweed. THIS IS SIMPLY A HIRE OF OUR EQUIPMENT NOT A GUIDED TRIP. Please note IF RIVER IS TOO HIGH or TOO LOW THE HIRE WILL BE CHANGED TO A PADDLE ON ST MARYS LOCH only if conditions on Loch are unsuitable will a change of date be allowed. A minimum of 3 people must be booked for trip to go ahead.

Wear buoyancy aid and helmet.

Be there for briefing on river etiquette.

Organise your own transport back from Innerleithen.

Arrive and help get kayaks down to river from carpark.

Get fitted with Buoyancy Aid and Helmet.

A short briefing will be done prior to going on water.

You have 2 hours 30 mins to complete the 12.5km journey.
