Wild Camping Expedition Skye

An opportunity for five days sea kayak touring around the stunning landscape of Skye and surrounding waters. This area offers unparalleled options for kayak touring: from the headlands and expanses of the west coast to the islands, rugged mountainous landscapes of the inner sound. Sea eagles, dolphins, minke are regularly seen on crossings. This trip is fully run and guided by Anita Daimond from Sea Môr Kayaking.

The exact itinerary is decided very close to the start based on the weather forecast.

Suitable for improver/intermediate kayakers. You should be capable of paddling in winds up to force 4 and we will aim to be paddling for 5-6 hours a day, with the necessary breaks for food and rests. Please ask if you are not sure whether you have suitable experience.

This is a wild camping trip, and you will need to be self-sufficient for the duration of the trips. I will circulate a kit list.

Meeting Broadford, Skye afternoon Sunday 23rd.

Stay overnight Broadford. Paddling from Monday-Friday early afternoon.

Optional: stay Broadford Friday night.
