As part of Heritage Week and Water Heritage Day, Enniscorthy Tidy Towns and GoPaddle.ie are delighted to bring to you a Biodiversity Kayaking tour with ecologist Faith Wilson.

Paddle gently through scenic waterways steeped in biodiversity and hear fascinating insights about the local flora, fauna, and the urgent need to protect these fragile ecosystems. Whether you’re a nature lover, a paddling enthusiast, or simply curious about Wexford’s river heritage, this unique experience offers a perfect blend of adventure, education, and conservation. Explore stunning habitats rich with birdlife, native plants, and aquatic species, all while gaining a deeper understanding of environmental challenges facing Ireland’s waterways today.

The whole tour is approx 4 km long and runs at a leisurely pace with plenty of rest stops along the way.
We use single Sit On Top kayaks so participants must be kayak and water confident.
To enjoy this experience you must also be comfortable in and around water while wearing a life jacket.
Suitable for Adults and Children age 12+
On arrival you will be greeted by one of our friendly guides and be given your wetsuit, we suggest bringing a towel for changing.
For your safety, everyone is issued with a buoyancy aid and a helmet.
Once the last safety check is done we'll head out on the water.
Our knowledgeable guides will spend a few minutes making sure everyone is comfortable in their kayak.
After a quick intro to the equipment and a brief lesson in how to handle the very stable kayak, your tour with Faith will get underway.
