Dovercourt Boating Lake (operated by Clacton Kayaks) are working with Active Essex and Essex County Council to be offering FREE Holiday Club Active Sessions from 09:00 to 13:00 from Monday - Thursday during the Summer Holidays!

These sessions will take place at Dovercourt Boating Lake, Lower Marine Parade, Harwich, CO12 3ST.

These Holiday Clubs funded spaces are for Children aged 8-14yrs who are in receipt of benefits based free school meals. 

We also have some places for families on low incomes and other family groups who may benefit from attending, please select the add-on on the next page to cover the cost of a hot meal for your child if you're booking from low incomes and other family groups. Wonde code holders do NOT need to select but will be asked their code on the questionnaire.

We have activity co-ordinators at hand keeping the children fully entertained throughout the day, our workshops are designed for children of all abilities. Every child will get the chance to develop and improve on day to day life skills as well as building confidence and self-esteem.

Each session is led by our fully qualified Activity Professionals, who ensure that your children are safe, having fun, and learning new skills. It is our goal to support, lead, and inspire children.

Every child attending will receive a free hot or cold meal that meets the healthy eating standards provided for school, drinks and snacks. Children are also welcome to bring their own packed lunch should they wish to.

Paddleboarding

Raft Building

Arts and Crafts

Multi-Sports

Pedalos

Model Boat Racing

Environmental Learning/Beach Clean

Please ensure that the children bring everything they need for the activities including suncream and a hat if the weather forecast looks good, sports clothing and old trainers are recommended and a change of clothing, towel + raincoat.

You MUST also fill in the questions required to confirm your child's place.

Drop off time opens at 8:55am every morning.

Collection time starts at 12:45pm and we ask that parents collect no later than 1pm.
