We run coached paddling sessions for people who would like to progress through the new British Canoeing Personal Performance Awards. These generally take the form of a supervised group paddle either upstream to the bridge or downstream to Elsing Mill. Coaching towards Discover (for beginners) and Explore (for improvers) awards will be given during these trips. These can be booked as a block or on a per session basis.

The awards are now the same for both adults and children but we will run a separate group for under 14’s as we feel they tend to learn in a different way from most adults. 

River session, approximately 2 hours.

This is for a single kayak with all the kit and is charged per person. Should you wish to have an open boat, just some kit or bring your own, please select the appropriate add-on. There is no charge if you use your own boat and kit.

1. Single kayak/canoe with all the kit - £3 pp
2. Double kayak/canoe with all the kit - £2 pp (min 2 persons)
3. Kit only - £1 pp

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND RIVER SESSIONS.

You must be able to swim unaided.

Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. For Summer paddling, wetsuit or t-shirt and trainers/shoes. Avoid cotton clothing as this will absorb water.

Depending on the number of attendees, and age range, we may paddle up or down stream.
