    Enjoy the freedom of the River Hamble on our rented craft; paddle with friends and family or enjoy a peaceful solo paddle.


    Select from a variety of hire options with all safety equipment provided:

    1. SUP: 1 adult or 1 adult & 1 small child
    2. Kayaks - single and double sit on top kayaks
    3. Open Canoe - combination of 2ads/2ch, 1ad/3ch, 3ads/1ch, 3 ads (4ads not permitted) - Paddling in Botley direction only
    4. Kata Kanu - Up to 8 paddling, max 6 adults (space for 2 small non-paddlers in middle of craft).

    You can mix and match the craft required; for self launch bookings, revisit the calendar and select self launch.

    Enjoy a refreshing drink, ice cream or snack at Paddler's Rest, our riverside catering outlet or stop off at one of the local pubs on the river.


    Our location at the tidal upper reaches of the river mean we have a maximum of 5 hours available for paddling (subject to sunset and other activities taking place at the centre); please use the calendar to see available dates and times.

    Please check your reservation at the time of booking as mistakes cannot be refunded at a later date. If you are unable to attend your booked session, you can request a credit note for a future session with us as long as we receive notification before the start of your session. Refunds are not available.

    Please make sure you have read our watercraft agreement before attending:

    Toilets and showers will be available at the Family Park campsite. Additional toilets may be available closer to the boathouse, please check with the staff on arrival!

    You should bring:

    You should:

    1. Wear comfortable clothes for the water including fixed rear shoes (please do not wear crocs or flip flops)
    2. Bring a spare set of clothes including shoes and towel
    3. Sun cream/ sunhat/ sunglasses
    4. Water bottle
    5. A debit/credit card to buy refreshments from our Paddlers Rest shack
