    Dive into the exciting world of windsurfing with our action-packed two-day course. Designed for complete beginners or those who have completed a windsurf taster session, this course is your gateway to mastering the basics of this thrilling sport.

    Course Highlights:

    1. Fun and Learning: Experience the thrill of windsurfing in a fun-filled atmosphere while learning essential skills.
    2. Skill Development: Work through the RYA Youth Windsurfing Scheme, covering all Stage 1 elements and introducing some Stage 2 elements.
    3. Expert Instruction: Learn under the guidance of our fully qualified and enthusiastic instructors.
    Course Content
    1. Introduction to Equipment: Get to know the basic parts of the windsurfing kit.
    2. Basic Sailing Techniques: Learn how to sail and turn the board, getting you up and sailing across the wind and back.
    3. Confidence Building: Gain confidence on the water, ensuring you feel comfortable and competent with the basics.
    Achieve Your First Milestone

    By the end of the Stage 1 course, you'll have a solid understanding of the basics of windsurfing, including sailing across the wind and turning. You'll also be introduced to some Stage 2 elements, setting you up for further progression in this exhilarating sport.




    Requirements
    1. Be able to swim 25m
    2. Aged 8yrs+


    What to bring
    1. Shorts/T-shirt to go under a wetsuit. Feel free to bring your own wetsuit if you have one. 
    2. Appropriate footwear: Must be closed toe shoes that are non slip or trainers that you don’t mind getting wet. (No flip flops or sliders)


    1. Packed lunch, drinks and extra snacks


    1. Suncream
    2. Towel
    3. A bag for your wet kit
    4. Warm/waterproof clothing, if the weather is cold, wet or windy.
    5. £1 coin for your locker (No change is available at the centre)




    Itinerary
    1. Arrive at the centre and meet your instructor
    2. This course is a mixture of on the water activity with a few theory elements. 
    3. You'll stop for lunch around 12:30pm for 45minutes and then resume activity. 
    4. 16:15 you'll be off the water ready to get changed to leave by 16:30
