    Overview

    Open water swimming is more than just front crawl! This 45 minute workshop is designed for open water swimmers who want to improve their breaststroke. 


    You might be a head in or a head up breaststroke swimmer looking to develop your technique.  It might be that you’d like to feel more efficient in the water, improve your speed or to feel more relaxed.


    What You Will Learn

    Technique – Work on aspects on your technique e.g. arms, legs, breathing, and timing of your stroke

    Efficiency and Speed: Learn how to swim breaststroke more efficiently to conserve energy and increase speed.

    Personalised Feedback: Receive tailored advice and corrections to refine your technique and build confidence.

    2. Instructor: Certified Open water coach and L2 swimming teacher and coach

    Prerequisites

    1. Participants should be experienced in open water swimming and comfortable swimming at least 200 meters breaststroke

    Requirements

    Before booking, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

    1. Must be able to swim 200 meters continuously.
    2. Must be physically capable of swimming in cold open water. Please consider any health conditions that may affect your safety in the water.
    3. Completion of our swim questionnaire is required to provide us with your emergency contact details and any pertinent medical information.
    4. Ages 17+



    What to bring
    1. A brightly colored swim hat.
    2. Tow Floats are COMPULSORY until water temperatures reach 14 degrees (typically late May to early June). We have a few spare ones but they are on a first come first serve basis.
    3. Warm layers for after your swim to help you warm up.
    4. Neoprene gloves and socks are highly recommended for comfort and warmth in colder water.

    Note: Tow Floats, goggles, and wetsuit gloves & socks are available for purchase on-site.



    Itinerary

    Meet our team over by the water 15 mins before the session to be issued a wetsuit and to get changed. The team will let you know where to go once you are ready.
