Vobster Beginner SUP Lesson x 6 people

Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian) on the water

We offer a 90min 'ready to ride' lesson at our location at Vobster Quay quarry, where we take advantage of calm conditions and crystal clear waters.

In this lesson, you will learn about the paddle-board and paddle, you will move from kneeling on the board to standing up, learn paddle strokes, turns, tricks, have a few games and if time allows, you can try out a SUP rescue technique!

​We supply boards, paddles, leashes, buoyancy aids as standard and wetsuits if required.

If you can complete a number of requirements and 16+, you will walk away with a ready to ride card which is UK recognised, which enables you to hire boards nationwide.

Lessons will be 1 instructor to maximum of 6 clients.

We can't promise you won't get wet.

Vobster Quay Entry Information.

Vobster Quay is a diving lake in Somerset, mostly home to diving and swimming activities, but we’re also pleased to host the Adventure SUP paddleboard sessions. We require all visitors to register online before arrival and then report to reception to collect a coloured wristband.

If you need any help finding the site, you can either call us, or please call Vobster on the day on 01373 814666.

When you get to Vobster, please park in the upper swimmer car park and walk down to reception in the shop. Vobster staff will be pleased to sign you in and direct you along to the Adventure SUP staff. You’ll be given a pink wristband with a number that will enable you to order food and drink while at Vobster. Please pay for this in the shop before you leave.

Please remember – our changing rooms are shut, but our toilets are open. We have a limited capacity on site – please do not bring additional spectators, family members or dogs as we must limit the number of people on site - We apologies for any inconvenience.

1. Under 18's accompanied by an adult on the water.
2. Children over the age of 12.
3. Able to swim 25 metres.
4. Complete the Vobster Terms and Condition registration prior to arriving for your session.
