September 1st SUNDAY 9am - 8pm
Groundswell Scotland’s annual Surf Festival bringing intention and connection into surfing, primal flow, nature connection, music, fitness and well-being through the sea, ceremony and celebration of women and waves.
We are delighted that this year's Surf Festival will be held at our home- the stunning Pease Bay beach and function room at Verdant Leisure Caravan Site.
This fundraiser will go towards paying forward Surf Therapy courses for women, build community and bring surf community together around this common cause.
*August 28th update* we only have tickets left WITHOUT surfboard hire, you can hire a wetsuit.
Please buy the correct ticket at the point of sale.
We have 10 tickets available with hire and 10 without.
You need to add extra (wetsuit & board hire) when buying your ticket.
Please bring extra hot drinks, snacks, soup and sandwiches, tea and coffee are provided at 2pm

Our surf coaches are experienced ISA Level 1 and 2 coaches with SLSGB Surf Lifeguard qualifications. We are insured and qualified for all activities that we are running.
We are strictly adhering to current Scottish government and sportscotland guidelines. We are also affiliated with the Scottish Surf Federation.
Please don’t attend if you have any COVID or flu symptoms. Please let us know if you’d like help to pay towards your ticket, email above.

What to bring
Please bring:
- Food & warm drinks, snacks, food (soup and sandwiches, tea and coffee are provided at 2pm)
- Wetsuits, boots and gloves*
- Surfboards*
- Swimwear & towels
- Yoga kit & mat
- Sleeping bag/big blanket/warm clothing for yoga session
- Journal & pen for coaching session
- An open heart!
*suggestions for those bringing their own kit
Itinerary
Sunday Sept 1st- 1000-1100 Primal Flow with Ruth
- 1100-1130 SNACK and change into wetsuits
- 1130-1400 Coached beginner & intermediate surfing
- 1400-1500 LUNCH soup and sandwiches, tea and coffee are provided at 2pm
- 1500-1700 Nature Connection walk, folklore and plants with Abby
(& optional sea dip)
- 1730-1830 DINNER (bring your own extra food)
- 1830-1930 Music and story telling with Harley
- 1930-2000 Closing Ceremony
