Why, What, Where, and How to cold water swim
If you've been thinking about dipping your toe in cold water / open water swimming, this session can help you understand the logistics- and hopefully inspire you to take the plunge.
Have you dabbled in outdoor swimming before, but want to continue through this winter? Join this session for a grounding in understanding of how to best enjoy the elements, but how to mitigate the risks, including Hypothermia, and cold water shock.
This online session is run by Jo, who is a qualifed open water swim coach, GB Ice Swimming Champion for 500m (2020), Ice Swim world championship age group medallist, and multi cold water swim event medallist in UK competitions. She is also swimming teacher with 20 years of outdoor swimming experience. This includes 6 x winters of swimming in skins.
