  • Description

As we come up to Christmas our Hot Chocolate paddles are a chance to have a break and get some exercise as you explore the River during this lovely time of year. The leaves have fallen, exposing a different view of the river bank and its inhabitants. Afterwards we will warm up with a hot chocolate and all the trimmings (or coffee if you would prefer). You can choose your craft; kayak, canoe, katakanu, although we do not recommend paddleboards for this session.

    Requirements
    1. Participant should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
    2. You should be able to partake in physical activitiy for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.
    What to bring

Please come prepared for your time on the water. We recommend casual, sporty clothing in layers so you can adjust to the weather. A fleece with waterproofs are great if you have them, if not we have some tops/trousers that you can borrow to wear over your clothes for the session. Please bring shoes that you do not mind getting wet and a change of clothes for 'just in case'.

Please bring any medication you may need and ensure staff are aware of this before the session starts.

    Itinerary

We will meet at the sessions start time and arrange your choice of craft with the instructor. We will then go out for a paddle for around 45mins before coming back to WWC for a warm drink.

A lovely place for dog walking and cycling. My double digit son attended there intermediate course, he had a fantastic instructor. Who taught them many new skills whilst still enjoying the activity. Thank you again.
