Who let the ducks out?!

Description

Our Duckling Tours are for families to get out on the water together and look for wildlife, hopefully finding some ducklings (or goslings). We usually do this trip in KataKanu's which are super stable 6 person boats that you can paddle as a family, an instructor will be with the group at all times.

Requirements

  1. Participant should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
  2. The participant should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.

What to bring

Please bring some comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting wet, this session aims to stay dry however ensure that you have clothes appropriate to the weather including:

  1. Footwear - Old trainers/sandals/wet boots - that you don’t mind getting wet (not flip-flops or wellington boots)
  2. Lightweight trousers or shorts
  3. T-shirt / Long sleeved garment
  4. Lightweight sweatshirt
  5. Windproof top and trousers
  6. Hat, sunscreen
  7. Drink
  8. Towel and dry clothing
  9. Any medication eg: Inhaler, EpiPen. Please ensure staff are aware of any medication before the session starts.


Itinerary

We will embark on a journey, in our section of the River Thames in search of ducklings, goslings and other wildlife.
