Learning to surf in a group is a great way to share the stoke and make new friends. Our ASI qualified instructors will teach you important beach safety and show you the techniques to catch and ride waves in a safe environment. We aim to provide you with solid surfing foundations to build upon and also help to develop your existing skills. We keep it fun at Coney Surf, exactly as surfing should be.

Price includes all equipment needed and lessons are 2 hours.

Surf Life Saving GB Lifeguard, Trainer and Coach.

Beginner lessons include tuition, wetsuit and surfboard.

Surf lessons are £35pp however, group booking discounts are automatically applied at checkout! For bookings with over 20 people, give us a call.

Vouchers are available and valid for 1 year.

Be able to swim 15 meters.

If aged between 6 and 8 then a parent must be in the water also. Additional wetsuits may be hired on the day of activity.

Bathing costume and a towel.

You will be welcomed to Coney Surf and fitted for a wetsuit.

We will then move to the beach and discuss beach safety and also assess the current weather conditions and how they may affect our lesson.

After a quick warm up we will demonstrate the techniques required to catch and surf the waves with your safety at all times our priority.

You will then have appx 1 1/2 hrs developing your surf skills in the water when your instructor will coach you individually to focus on specific areas which you can improve upon.
