Requirements

This is an intermediate trip as it involves a number of big days and large open water crossings. If you're not sure if this is the trip for you get in touch and we can discuss it

What to bring

What you need to bring with you:


  1. Clothing for paddling
  2. Full waterproofs
  3. Outdoor clothing you don't mind getting smelly and a wee bit damp in
  4. Shoes for being on the water (trainers or boots you don't mind getting wet, or wellies. We do not recommend thin wetsuit boots for this trip as there is some walking to be done.)
  5. Clothing for in camp
  6. Dry clothes for around camp
  7. Dry shoes
  8. Sleeping system
  9. Sleeping bag
  10. Sleep matt
  11. Thermals to sleep in

Day 1 - Tarbet to Inchcailloch

Day 2 - Inchcailloch to Ardmore

Day 3 - Ardmore to Ardentinny

Day 4 - Ardentinny to Arrochar
