Children’s Coastal Adventures (Headland Hotel Guests Only – FREE)
Join the expert team at Surf Sanctuary for a fun and educational 1-hour session exploring the beach and learning essential ocean safety skills. Suitable for children aged 7 and over, accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Sessions are light, active, and designed to build water confidence while nurturing respect for the natural environment. When tides allow, we’ll also explore the rockpools and talk about how to care for our coastline.
Session details:
- 🕙 Starts at 10:00am
- ⏱ Duration: 1 hour
- 📍 Meet at Surf Sanctuary (on-site at The Headland Hotel)
- 💷 FREE – exclusively for Headland Hotel guests
- 👶 Suitable for ages 7+
- 👨👩👧 Parent or guardian must attend
- 🩱 Wetsuits provided – please bring swimwear and a towel
- 🌊 Activities include body surfing, floating, moving safely through waves, understanding rip currents
- 🐚 Rockpool ramble with light ecological focus when tide allows
- 💬 Delivered in a relaxed, friendly style to encourage confidence and curiosity
