  • Description

Our Winter Race Series of 4 fun racing will be commencing soon, the dates for this winter's series are all on Saturdays:

    4th Nov

9th Dec (also our NWSC Club Champs)

    3rd Feb

    9th March

The events are open to any capable club members (+ guests) to come along and pit themselves against the clock. So, if you can get yourself to the top of the slope (using the lift unaided), and descend in control of speed and direction, navigating obstacles, then you can come a long and take part in this event (Some previous experience of skiing round gates is preferred, our regular Sunday sessions are ideal to have a go at this level!).

As always at our sessions, coaches will be present and available to give tips, advice encouragement and appropriate feedback where needed.

PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure you book no later than the day before as we can't guarantee late entry's will be accepted.

Visit our website for more information on the NWSC https://northwalessnowsports.co.uk,

    Further Enquiries

If you wish to contact us to make further enquiries, then enquire at one of our sessions, or you can do so via our Facebook page - North Wales Snowsports Club | Facebook

The New Season Memberships begin on the 1st Oct 2023.

Full membership of the North Wales Snowsports Club is not a requirement to participate in these sessions, the standard rate includes the temporary membership required. However becoming a full member does entitle you to significant reductions on all regular NWSC sessions, and the general use of the Llandudno slope outside of the clubs session times. If you are not a current member or wish to renew, then you can find out more and join via the link on here https://www.northwalessnowsports.co.uk/join-the-club

COVID GUIDELINES: Please do not attend if you or any household members have any symptoms, have been tested positive for Covid, or have been in close physical contact with someone who has tested positive, unless you have subsequently tested negative yourself (NB. refunds can be issued in genuine cases where COVID is a contributing factor, or in the event of further restrictions which mean we cannot run the session).

Skiers must be able to control speed and direction from the top of the slope, turn, stop, and use the lift unaided.

Parents of any children under the age of 16 are expected to remain at the centre, within sight of the slope, in case they are required.

The supervising coach will reserve the right to ask participants to leave the slope should their ability not be up to the required standard, and / or potentially be at imminent risk of harming themselves or others.

    What to bring

You can bring your own ski gear or you can use the hire equipment from the Llandudno, included in the price, should you prefer.

You must bring (your own) gloves, and wet weather gear is advised in case of rain.

Bare in mind that there are also sprinklers on the slope to consider.

Helmets are essential for this event.

This is a specific event where participants will be taking part in timed runs through a set course, and receiving coaching throughout.
