Description
On Sunday 16th Jan we are hosting our next National Slalom Awards (NSA) event.
This is part of an initiative from Snowsport Wales which allows all capable participants to come along and pit themselves against the clock.
- For this event we will be using a predetermined set course and will use age handicapped standard times to give skiers and indication of where they stand on the day.
- Skiers, no matter how young or old, can then assess their improvement from 'Polar Bear' to 'Platinum' standard.
So if you can get yourself to the top of the slope (using the lift unaided), and descend in control of speed and direction then you can come a long and take part in this event (Some previous experience of skiing round gates preferred, our regular Sunday sessions are ideal to have a go at this level).
As always at our sessions, coaches will be present and available to give tips, advice encouragement and appropriate feedback where needed.
NB. You will need to be a member to attend this event, though it is possible to attend as a temporary member (please see the information below).

COVID GUIDELINES: Please do not attend if you or any household members have any symptoms, have been tested positive for Covid, or have been in close physical contact with someone who has tested positive, unless you have subsequently tested negative yourself (NB. refunds can be issued in genuine cases where COVID is a contributing factor, or in the event of further restrictions which mean we cannot run the session).
