Stand Up Paddle Begginner session

• Learn the parts of the board and paddle, plus safety techniques
• Practise standing up and paddle strokes

Stand Up Paddle is suitable for everyone of all ages and abilities and is rapidly becoming the water sport of choice all around the globe.

Our beginner Paddleboard lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities. These sessions are designed for complete beginners who have never done any type of paddleboarding before. During the session, we will be covering everything you need to know to be a competent paddler such as parts of the board and paddle, safety techniques, standing up, paddling strokes, and board recovery. We will also incorporate games and exercises to help you confidently practice the new skills you have learned during your session.

We also have a shop located in Beadnell Carpark at our container selling paddle boards, wetsuits dry robes and more!

We can adapt the session to any ability. The minimum age for this activity is 6 years old. If you are booking a child under 8 years old, please contact us via text or E-Mail to we can organise instructors accordingly. 

Please bring a swimming costume to wear under wet suit. 

Bring the usual sun cream, water, warm clothes and food and a warm drink for after if required.

KA Adventure Sports provides all equipment required to take part in the activity.

We will meet at Beadnell car park where we will kit up and deliver a detailed safety brief.

5mm wet suits and buoyancy aids will be issued.

We will run the session in Beadnell Bay or on the North side of Beadnell village depending on the conditions on the day.
